Selected paintings from the Mendocino Art Center's plein air festival 2021. The Mendocino Open Paint Out, curated over 150 pieces for this special in-person and online exhibition. I am pleased that my painting "By The Gulch Trail" was chosen to be in this show. "By The Gulch Trail" was painted on the second day of the paint out event. I was attracted by the almost monochromatic tones of the scene created by the morning fog and light rain.
